This is the Data Section of the European Road Safety Observatory. On this part of the website, you will find road safety related data and important information on what to do with accident data. The section Accident statistics provides traffic safety data based on the CARE database. The section Performance indicator statistics provides data for 27 European countries that is relevant for the calculation of Safety Performance Indicators. The section Knowledge about data provides basic knowledge about how to use, interpret, and analyse traffic safety data. If you want to actually use existing accident data and exercise your analysis skills, you can use the database under section Interactive data.
